What am I reading this weekend?


I’m happy to say I am making progress on these books this weekend - except for Chloe Brown because I haven’t started that one yet. I’m 60% through Fish in a Tree, 76% through Tomorrow and…, and on page 111 of The Blue Castle. My daughter and I both had colds so reading Hercule aloud was put on hold until our voices heal, but we will finish it…soon! As soon as I finish one of these, I will start Chloe Brown and make the leap to February!  Hope you are reading lots of good books to close out January!

  First Line Fridays - June 24, 2022  Every night, she and her best friend Wes risk their lives to steal Moonflower petals and distribute the elixir to those who need it most–but it's still not enough. This is the first line from "Defy the Night" by Brigid Kemmerer. I love what she writes. I read all of the Cursebreakers Series and I am attempting to read the rest of her backlist.   This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub: I checked this out from my local library this week and have been reading it while I am recovering from Covid. Sorry, my librarians, you will have to quarantine this book when it comes back, but that's not until next week. I like that the chapters are short, but it took awhile to get to the time jump, but now that that has happened, it's moving along well.  The first line is: "Time did not exist in the hospital."
